Police seek help in search for missing boy, 11

CHICAGO – Chicago police are asking for the public’s help in the search for a boy who went missing Tuesday from the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

According to police, Robert Johnson, 11, was last seen Dec. 22 in the area of 5200 S. May St. on the South Side. Police say Johnson “may have an inability to communicate with others unfamiliar to him.”

Johnson is described as black, about 4 feet 6 inches and 65 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red jacket with black markings on the sleeves. The boy has brown eyes and black hair, according to police.

He was also seen wearing a red t-shirt, dark pants and grey gym shoes.

Anyone with information on the boy’s whereabouts is asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
