CHICAGO — Chicago police  have charged a man in a sexual assault on the Red Line.

A woman was attacked after getting off a train near the Jarvis stop in Rogers Park early Saturday morning.

Police say she was followed off the train and then forced into a secluded area with a handgun.

Milton Anderson has been charged with one count of criminal sexual assault and one count of armed robbery.

After a community alert went out, police say Anderson turned himself in to Alderman Joe Moore and then to Chicago police.

Officials say the victim positively identified him.
