Police still searching for shooter in NIU student’s killing

CHICAGO – Police are still searching for the killer of a 19-year-old student who had just returned home from college for winter break.

Joseph Graves was found dead in an SUV Friday night. The shooting happened near 92nd and Union.

Graves was found in the driver’s seat and was shot in the head.  He was a sophomore at nIU

Police are looking for the people who may have been with him during the shooting.

There is now a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

So far, no one is in custody.
