Coach resigns over allegations of inappropriate conduct

OAK FOREST, Ill. – Oak Forest police are investigating allegation that a staff  member coach had inappropriate conduct with a student.

The staff member is a swim coach at Oak Forest High School.  The coach  resigned on Friday after the allegations were made.

WGN News is not naming the coach because, as of now, no charges have been filed against him.

Oak Forest High School called parents on Friday update them on the situation and inform them on the actions were being taken.

Besides the coach resigning and an internal investigation happening within the district, there's a criminal investigation with police as well as the Dept of Children and Family services.
