The Blackhawks have traded Trevor Daley to the Penguins for Rob Scuderi.

CHICAGO – He was apart of the biggest trade for the Blackhawks of this offseason, but his time in Chicago didn’t last long.

On Monday night the Blackhawks traded defenseman Trevor Daley to the Penguins in exchange for defenseman Rob Scuderi.

The move comes after Daley played just 29 games for the team after coming to Chicago along with Ryan Garbutt in the Patrick Sharp trade. Daley finished with six assists during his short time with the Blackhawks.

Scuderi comes to Chicago after 25 games this season in Pittsburgh where he had four assists and 32 blocked shots. A 12-year veteran of the NHL, Scuderi has spent time with both the Penguins and the Kings.
