CHICAGO -- Lazy, drug addicted criminals that don’t want to be helped.  Those are just a few of the common misconceptions about the homeless.

But many of these people have colorful backstories, goals and dreams, just like everyone else.

If you take the time to listen, you’ll hear endless stories from Chicago’s homeless population about how they got to where they are today. But the common desire in all of them is just wanting to be noticed.
