Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recently had an encounter with a bald eagle and it wasn't pretty.

It happened during a photo shoot for Time magazine when Trump was running for its Person of the Year.

The eagle snapped when Trump reached for a bottle of aspirin on his desk to move it out of the picture.

The eagle's name is "Uncle Sam" and he is 27 years old.

Trump later said the eagle was "seriously dangerous but beautiful."
