CHICAGO -- A 3-year-old boy fell from a second-floor classroom window at a school in Lincoln Park.

DNAinfo Chicago reports the boy was discovered on the ground at Oscar Mayer Magnet School, 2250 N. Clifton Ave., Tuesday afternoon.

He landed in a dirt pile from a nearby chicken coop.

The boy was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital and is in good condition.

One parent said it happened before or after a lock-down drill when students move to the corner of the classroom. That parent said many other parents kept their children home because they were worried.
