CHICAGO -- A speeding car crashed into a tree, a light pole and a fence in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Chicago police officers helped get three young men out of the car, just as it caught fire.

It happened late Monday night in the 700 block of West Garfield.

It appears, one car was chasing the other when one of them -- a Kia Sedan -- crashed.

The other car involved in the chase left the scene of the crash.

Police hope to learn more by questioning the three injured passengers.

Their conditions aren't known at this time.
