Retired Army Captain Florent Groberg received the nation's highest military honor, the Medal of Honor, last month.

Groberg survived attacks by two suicide bombers moments apart but was badly wounded as he saved his fellow soldiers in Kunar Province, Afghanistan in 2012.

Four soldiers were killed in the suicide bombing incident. Groberg needed 33-surgeries to save a leg.

He joined WGN Morning News for an interview.
