Novato, Calif. — An aggressive squirrel suspected of attacking eight people in California is believed to be dead.

Two victims are home from the hospital, and telling their terrifying story.

Richard and Norma Williams were both given dozens of shots, including rabies and tetanus.

Five other people were attacked by a squirrel in their area within several weeks of each other, including an elementary school teacher and student.

No other attacks have occurred since the Williams were hurt on the day after Thanksgiving, leading officials to believe the squirrel is dead.
