OAK PARK, Ill. — Police believe they have recovered the body of a woman missing from Oak Park.

48-year-old woman Alicia H. Yaus, was last seen at about 3 p.m., Sat., Nov. 28, in the vicinity of Chicago and Harlem avenues.

Police say family members told them it would out of character for the mother of three to disappear on her own.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle  parked in a secluded area behind a building in an industrial area in Forest Park.  A body was found inside the vehicle, which was registered to Yaus, according to police.

Positive identification has yet to be made.

The incident is classified as a death investigation
