CHICAGO -- Huge flames erupt at a longtime restaurant in the Pilsen neighborhood.

The fire destroyed the Nuevo Leon restaurant at 1515 W. 18th Street early Wednesday morning. The flames also spread and damaged Tortilla Sabinas.

One of the owners was in an office when he smelled the smoke, and ran out.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Nuevo Leon had been around since 1962. It employed about 40 people.

It's hoping to rebuild, and looking into renting a temporary location in the meantime.
