AUSTRALIA -- A man from Australia made international headlines earlier this week because his name was too funny to be real.

Well, it turns out it was.

The 23-year-old man claimed Facebook kept taking away his page because of his name.

He said his name, Phuc Dat Bich, was pronounced (foop) (dook) (bik). But the way it was spelled had people reading it in an inappropriate way.

It turns out, that's not his real name:

A former classmate posted a yearbook photo with the man's real name: Thien Nguyen.

The man has since apologized and admitted he doctored the passport as a prank to fool the news media and gain attention.
