21 terror suspects detained in latest raids in Belgium
BELGIUM –Belgian authorities staged another series of raids, and arrested 21 more terror suspects.
There were 27 raids Sunday and this morning, most of them in Brussels.
The capital city is on its highest terror alert level, after the discovery that some of the Paris terrorists live in Belgium.
Schools and transit systems are closed.
Some workers at NATO’s headquarters in Brussels were told to stay home.
Police say one of the prime suspects in the Paris massacre, Salah Abdeslam, was not among the 21 arrests.
