LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Chicago Bears offensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje has been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances.

The punishment announced Tuesday begins immediately. Fabuluje, a sixth-round draft pick out of TCU last spring, has appeared in four games. He will be eligible to return to the active roster Dec. 7 and play against Washington on Dec. 13.

The Bears (3-5) visit St. Louis this week.
