CHICAGO — Several Cook County judges have received death threats

According to the Chicago Tribune, threatening letters were sent to at least five judges in their chambers in recent weeks.

One of the letters told a judge they were on a kill list.

The judges deal with commercial cases.

The Cook County Sheriff’s office says it’s actively investigating the threats and taking proper security measures to protect the judges.
