CPD officers rescue men from burning car

CHICAGO - Chicago Police officers rescued two men from a burning car early Sunday morning.

Police say just before 2:30 a.m., a man was speeding when he crashed into several parked cars in the 7700 block of South Loomis.

When officers arrived, the man's car was on fire.

Witnesses told police three men were inside the car. One of the men was able to get out and the other two were unconscious inside the vehicle.

The officers broke the car's windows to rescue the two men, who were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No officers were injured.
