CHICAGO – Chicago Teachers’ Union President Karen Lewis spent last night taking several shots at Governor Bruce Rauner.

At the union’s annual fundraiser, Lewis called Rauner a “sociopath” and called on legislators and allies to intervene in the financial problems at Chicago Public Schools.

CPS is operating on a budget that counts on nearly $500 million from Springfield.

The union is in the middle of contract negotiations right now and plans a rally downtown for the last week in November.
