Enormous fire destroys at least six businesses

CHICAGO -- A massive fire destroyed six businesses on Chicago's northwest side.

The fire started around 12:30 p.m. Friday, inside a dry cleaners in the 3500 block of West Irving Park Road.

The fire quickly spread to other businesses along the strip.

It took crews five hours to put it out.

Three firefighters were injured in the process, but they expected to be alright.

Firefighters have been on the scene since the fire started, checking for hotspots.

The fire did reignite, but is under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
