LOS ANGELES — This past April, 37-year-old Rachael Farrokh weighed 40 pounds and was near death.
She was losing her long battle with anorexia, and posted a plea for help on YouTube.
The world responded, donating nearly $200,000 to her GoFundMe page.
This week, a healthier, more vibrant Rachael attended the second annual March against Eating Disorders this week.
once a frightening example of anorexia’s deadly potential, she’s now living proof that it can be beaten.
“My goal in this recovery process is to create awareness and education in order to help others battling this disease,” she wrote on Facebook.
