OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. -- Family and friends of the Bogan High School football player who died Friday morning gathered Saturday night at Rich Central High School in Olympic Fields for a vigil.

Seventeen-year-old Andre Smith fell unconscious Thursday night at the end of the Bogan and CVS game.

The autopsy results show the teen suffered blunt force to his head.  Witnesses say Smith was tackled hard and laid on the ground for several minutes before he walked off the field.

Smith attended Rich Central before he transferred to Bogan.  His friends and family remember him as a friendly teen, who loved football.
