Two men charged for deadly shooting at playground

CHICAGO — Two men have been charged with murder for a shooting at a barbecue in September. The shooting resulted in three people dead and two wounded, police reported Saturday.

Anthony Jackson, 20, and Lawrence Brown, 22, walked out of an alley and opened fire on a crowd of people near a playground in the 400 block of West 22nd Street on Sept. 29, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Jackson and Brown have both been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder and aggravated battery and will appear in court Saturday, police said.
