5 injured in serious crash on Northwest Side

CHICAGO -- One person is in custody after five people were injured in a crash on the city's Northwest Side.

The serious accident happened just before 3 a.m. today at Cicero and Armitage.

Two cars crashed and one collided into a bus stop.

The driver of one car was taken into custody.

Five people were sent to the hospital in critical condition. No information was available about the ages or genders.

An investigation is ongoing.
