NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- An 11-year-old Naperville girl is gathering petitions to save a legendary halloween house from closing its doors.

The home, located on Conan Doyle Road, became a major attraction over the years, but this year the homeowners association tightened rules on decorations. So, the homeowner had to keep his decorations in storage.

Fifth-grader Sara Marston rounded up more than 6,000 signatures on a petition to save the display, and she's planning a neighborhood march next weekend.

She hopes her campaign will convince the association to reverse its decision.
