STRATFORD,  Conn. -- A teacher in Connecticut is charged with having a sexual relationship with a student.

Stratford police say the investigation started when a 15-year-old boy reported the relationship.

Police say the boy told investigators that he and teacher Michelle Sulzicki had been having sex for two years.

He's now concerned that he might be the father of her five-month-old daughter.

Sulzicki is charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a minor and risk of injury to a minor.

She posted bail, and she's due back in court November 3.

Sulzicki is  a special education teacher.

Her alleged relationship with the boy started when she was tutoring him at his home.

Stratford police say she admitted they only had sex once when he was in the 6th grade.

She denies the boy is the father of her daughter.

Tests are being conducted to confirm that.

Sulzicki has been a special education teacher at Chapel Elementary School for the past four years.

The Stratford school district placed her on leave and is moving to fire her.
