A young mother from Alabama is outraged over the misappropriation of her Facebook photos.

Ashton Hamner was shocked to stumble across photos of her 16-month-old daughter that had been made into horribly offensive memes.

"I cried. That's all I could do. I was just very upset about it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing," Hamner said.

It's illegal to re-post someone's photos if you alter them in anyway, but there's little Hamner can do about this crime.

She reported the theft to Facebook, and luckily, the social media service took them down.

Hamner has since changed her passwords and privacy settings to make sure no one else will ever steal her photos again.
