Watching shows like ‘Law and Order’ prevent rape: study

A new study suggests watching “Law and Order” may help prevent rape.

The study, by the Edward R. Murrow College of Communications shows a connection between sexual violence on TV and how people view consent.

It suggests people who view the show have a better grasp of sexual consent than viewers of other crime dramas.
