CHICAGO -- Adam Zybko and George Mugnani, the creative minds behind a homecoming video that has gone viral this weekend, joined WGN this morning to talk about what inspired their 80s-themed proposal.

Zybko and Mugnani, students at Glen Ellyn High School, created the video to ask two lucky girls to the homecoming dance.

The video was a recipe for success, complete with mullets, mustaches, and Bonnie Tyler's "I Need  Hero."
