Police: Charges filed after man exposed himself on Green Line

CHICAGO — A 21-year-old Englewood neighborhood man is accused of allegedly exposing himself and touching a woman inappropriately on the Green Line Friday, police said.

Anton M. Johnson, 21, of the 6600 block of South Sangamon Street, was charged with aggravated battery to a transit passenger, police said.

Johnson is slated to appear for a bond hearing Sunday afternoon at the Leighton Criminal Court Building.

Police in an alert issued Friday evening said a man touched a woman and exposed himself at the 35th/Bronzeville — IIT station about 11:04 a.m. Friday.

The man was initially described as a black man, age 18 to 20, standing about 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-3 and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray and black hooded sweatshirt with a zipper.
