LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville and the NCAA are investigating allegations involving the school’s basketball program.

A new book set for release is expected to detail how a former Cardinals basketball staffer paid an escort service to provide sex for recruits. The school says it learned of the allegations in august and immediately notified the NCAA.

The staffer’s name is Andre McGee. He left Louisville last year to become an assistant at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

That school has placed him on paid administrative leave.
