CHICAGO – A massive bra sculpture was on display in the middle of Pioneer Court Thursday.

At 16 feet tall and 1500 pounds, it was designed to support women all across Chicagoland in the battle to prevent and detect breast cancer.

Experts say breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women.  More than 200,000 are diagnosed each year.

The pink bra sculpture kicks off the first day of national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Stories of the Girls, Advocate Health Care’s promotion, is reminding women to support their girls and get tested early.
