10-year-old girl shot in Woodlawn neighborhood, police say

CHICAGO — A 10-year-old girl and two teens were shot Sunday on the city’s Far South Side, according to police.

Police say a 10-year-old girl suffered a graze wound to the neck. She was taken to Comer Children’s hospital in good condition.

Another victim, an 18-year-old girl, suffered a graze wound to the right calf. She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

A 19-year-old male was shot in the back. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His condition is unknown.

Police say the shooting occurred on the 1400 block of 66th place at 12:50 p.m.
