STREAMWOOD, Ill. – Police are seeking three suspects who broke into a Streamwood jewelry story, but left without taking anything.

Security footage shows the three men breaking into the Vaughn Garouche Jewelry Collection at 1034 E Schaumburg Rd around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

One suspect broke the window which set off the alarm.

The video shows one man walk into the store and check out the empty display cases. He takes nothing then leaves. A third man seems to be waiting for the other two.

Most of the store’s collection was in a safe. But store owners say if one of the suspect had just gone on the other side of the display case he would have a chance to steal thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.

Police are investigating.
