HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Flor. —  A school bus full of children went off the road and into a pond in Florida Thursday. 27 elementary students were on board. No one was seriously injured.

“It started bumping up and down and it was really scary, and then we hit the side of a tree and the windows broke and then we were falling in different seats and water came in,” said 7 year old passenger Sonia Sadasivam.

The accident was captured on two nearby surveillance cameras.

One shows the bus speeding by.

The other shows the bus briefly, before it disappears with a splash in the water.

Records show the bus was more than 20-years old.

The driver had only been on the job for a few days.

School district officials say their buses are safe and the driver was trained properly.

The bus driver has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of its investigation.
