(CHICAGO) -- Cubs rookie Kyle Schwarber got his morning workout in at a fourth grade classroom.

It was an unusual setting, but for Schwarber it was part of the 22-year-old's commitment to get out into the community and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Schwarber joined Clark the Cub at Hawthorne Scholastic Academy in Lakeview to help launch Cubs on the Move Fitness Challenge, a program that runs through November geared toward promoting physical activity in the classroom.

Schwarber joined the students in class during their "Catch a Break" exercise designed to keep them active through baseball exercises including arm circles, running in place and crouching in a catcher's pose to mimic catching a baseball.
