Rescue crews search for missing man in Lake Michigan

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. – Coast Guard crews in Michigan City have been searching Lake Michigan all night, for a 24-year-old man who was swept into the water by a big wave.

Crews were out in boats and helicopters searching for the man in an area called Trail Creek.

Fire officials say a wave of about 7 feet tall, knocked a group of six people off a pier and into the water.

Three people were able to get out of the water on their own.  Two others were rescued.
