A shooting victim has found healing through a sweet new friendship.

Maria Williamson was shot in the face while driving home from work two and a half months ago in an attempted carjacking. She lost an eye as a result.

The 26-year-old recently adopted Bear, a one-month old puppy who lost an eye after another dog attacked him. They've become best buddies.
