A dog in Washington state owes her life to a loyal friend.

Phoebe the Basset Hound got stuck in a hole while playing with her friend Tillie, a setter. For an entire week, Tillie stood by, in case someone came along searching for Phoebe.

Then, she went out looking for help, and eventually led some volunteers back to the hole.

When they called Phoebe's name, she barked once, and that was all they needed to find her and rescue her.

Both dogs are doing just fine.
