Authorities seek help in search for missing suburban boy, 14

CHICAGO — The Cook County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old boy who went missing over the weekend.

According to a statement by Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart, Maynor Carcamo, 14, was reported missing on Sunday after he did not come home from school on Sep. 11.

Carcamo is a resident of unincorporated Stickney Township, Ill., and was last seen Sep. 14 in the area of 34th Street and Lawndale Avenue in Chicago, according to the statement.

Carcamo is described as Hispanic, approximately 5 teet tall and 110 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a beige striped shirt and a blue jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call sheriff’s police at 847-635-1188.
