WESTFORD, Mass. — A 6-year-old boy in Massachusetts didn’t let his wheelchair stop him from playing football.

Matt was born with  spinal muscular atrophy. His parents were told he might not live past two.

Matt loves football, and he loves watching his older brother play quarterback.

So his coach got an idea for Matt to get the ball on the first play of the first game of the season.

The coach checked with the league, and the opposing team, to see if it was OK.

Some of the opposing players even missed some tackles on the play.
