D’IBERVILLE, Miss. —An image of a firefighter comforting a child who was injured in a crash has gone viral.

Casey Lessard was one of the firemen who responded to a single-car crash in D’iberville, Mississippi on Saturday that involved an SUV flipping several times off an exit ramp, according to the Sun Herald. Six people were injured – an adult driver and five children.

A photo captured by the Sun Herald shows Lessard laying down next to one young crash victim, holding his cellphone so the child could watch “Happy Feet.”

Fire Captain Darren Peterson told the Sun Herald his firefighters do everything they can to comfort children involved in traumas.

“The kids … we do whatever we can to calm them down,” said Peterson. “The video calmed him down instantly.”
