Thousands line route to pay respects to slain Fox Lake officer

ANTIOCH, Ill. -- Thousands gathered across Lake County Monday to pay their final respects to Lt Joe Gliniewicz.

A public service held for the slain Fox Lake officer at Antioch High School was followed by a procession that lead to Hillside East Cemetery.

The final tour lasted 18 miles with more than 1500 squads from across the country taking part.

Thousands lined the route.  Many stood in the heat for hours just to say goodbye.
