CHICAGO -- The Bilandic Building will be closed today because of flooding.

Officials say some construction work on Randolph ruptured a water main.

That caused some flooding in a nearby ComEd electrical vault which affected the Bilandic Building's elevators, as well as the heating and air conditioning systems.

The Bilandic Building contains the Illinois Supreme Court, appellate court, as well as a child day care.

The Thompson Center was not affected by the water main break.
