BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- A woman was pushed off the roof of a garage during a college party near Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.

The 20-year-old student was dancing on the edge of the roof.

Some people in a crowd of about 200 students were yelling for her to jump when a college junior, Alexander Marquez pushed her from the roof.

It was a 10-foot drop into the crowd.  Luckily, other students broke her fall and she wasn't hurt badly.

The incident was captured by multiple cameras at the party.

Marquez, 20,  was arrested.

His lawyer said it was just a prank at a college party that got out of hand.

According to the Boston Globe, Marquez was arraigned and charged with disorderly conduct, assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He pleaded not guilty and will return to court later this month.

The judge set bail at $5,000.

The university is investigating.
