WILLOWBROOK, Ill. -- Police investigating a brutal attack on a Willowbrook woman may have found the suspect's car.

Police are pursuing a number of leads and 15 different departments are involved in the investigation.

Authorities tell WGN they have received good information about the suspect and his vehicle.

Overnight a dark blue Nissan Altima with tinted windows and a Bicentennial Indiana license plate was found, parked on a quiet street in Brookfield. Police towed the vehicle away.

"The vehicle was removed from the scene and is currently being processed by evidence technicians," Willowbrook Police Chief Mark Shelton told reporters at a press briefing Monday morning. "Investigators are checking the vehicle registration and owners."

The hunt for the suspect continues.  Police have released a sketch of the man they believe beat, stabbed and sexually assaulted the Willowbrook woman.  He is an African-American, in his 30's, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 160-180 pounds.

A neighbor of the 26-year-old victim told WGN he saw someone who looks like the police sketch two days before the attack.

Police say they did not see anyone suspicious lurking in the area before the attack.

The victim remains hospitalized.
