Motorcyclist killed in Eisenhower Expressway crash

CHICAGO -- A motorcyclist died Monday morning when he crashed on the outbound Eisenhower Expressway.

He crashed about 12:35 a.m. just east of California Avenue and was pronounced dead less than an hour later at Stroger Hospital.

Police say the man was 42-years-old.

They haven't released his name yet. Police said it's not clear why he crashed but believe speed played a role.
