MARYBOROUGH, Australia — This Australian man probably felt a little salty after he was locked up for four months because of a blunder by local police.

Police arrested the man in May after finding what they thought was methylamphetamine in his car, according to the Independent.

But now four months later, charges have been dropped after a forensic test determined the ‘crystal meth’ was in fact just Epsom salt.

The mishap has again called attention to Queensland’s Health’s slow-moving Forensic and Scientific Services, which has gotten repeated criticism for delays in forensic testing.
