Police shoot man in Oswego

OSWEGO, Ill. – A man in Oswego was shot by police officers overnight.

It happened just after midnight on the 100 block of Ashlawn in Oswego.

Police headed to the home after receiving a threat of a “massacre” there.

Police say when the two officers arrived, a man outside the home with a rifle raised it toward them.  Police fired and shot the man.

He was taken to the hospital.  There’s no word on his condition.
