CHICAGO — Chicago police say there is a person of interest being questioned in the Lincoln Park sexual assaults

Police released a surveillance photo of a suspect in the assaults Thursday. He’s described as possibly Hispanic with olive skin and short dark hair, 25 to 45 years old, 5’5″ to 5’9″, weighing somewhere between 160 and 180 pounds.

Police believe he attacked 25-year-old Kaie Raig on the morning of Aug. 9. She spoke with WGN Thursday evening: “He jumped out of nowhere from behind me. He covered my mouth, started sexually assaulting me– pushed me down when I screamed and then he started running.”

Kaie is believed to be the suspect’s first victim. Police think he struck again in Old Town Aug. 15 just after midnight.

The third attack occurred at about 1:40 a.m. Thursday in the 900 block of West Belden near DePaul University’s campus.
